  • Huck Finn  Fishing
    The Zimmer Club Youth program sponsored 2 Huck Finn fishing tournaments this Summer. The first on July 4 at Willow Brook Pond. Even with all the Rain we had 86 boy's and girl's from around the Island catching well over 100 fish. In august we sponsored a second Huck Finn at Wolfe's Pond Park. This even was great, the sun was shining, it was a wonderful day to be out doors. We 58 boy's and girl's attend for a day of fishing and old fashioned BBQ. Thanks to all the parents who took the time to bring the kids to both events. A special thanks to Roy and George who's fingers will never be the same.

    Youth Conservation Classes
    January 22 2011 classes are being prepared, if you are interested in having a Boy or Girl ages 10 to 17 attend contact the Zimmer Youth Club for information on registration or stop by and ask one of the members.
  • NY State Hunting Regulations Changes!
    The age for hunting lowered. New York state has lowered the age for big game hunting to 14. If you want to learn more contact the DEC or ask one of the expert instructors at the Zimmer Fish and Game Club about attending hunter safety classes.
